Skill India is an initiative of the Government of India, launched to empower the youth of the country with skill sets which make them more employable and more productive in their work environment. Skill India offers courses across 40 sectors in the country which are aligned to the standards recognised by both, the industry and the government under the National Skill Qualification Framework. Skill India harbours responsibility for ensuring implementation of Common norms across all skill development programs in the country so that they are all standardized and aligned to one object. Bharat Mata Welfare Foundation evolved with the aim of over all development of poor downtrodden society all over India. The Foundation has under taken various activities like social, cultural, economical health and education for the development of backward and poor communities. With a view to develop Handicraft artisans the Foundation has so far organized vocational training, Design Workshop craft in Embroidery, Appliqué work, Leather, Soft Toys, Terracotta etc. crafts to the semi-skilled artisans and thereafter provided marketing facilities through organizing Craft Bazaar/Exhibition.
